The Cowboys travel south in round 15 hoping to break their Sydney duck against Manly in the first of Friday’s matches. Here’s how to watch the match on Kayo and catch up on all the news in the lead-up.

Sea Eagles v Cowboys preview

The Cowboys have lost just one of their last eight matches, vaulting them to third on the ladder, but that one loss came in Sydney where they are yet to win this season and return on Friday.

Most of their wins have come north of the Tweed with Canberra and Darwin being the exceptions. The one loss came against reigning premiers Penrith Panthers when North Queensland did not score a point, going down 22-0.

Exciting backrower Heilum Luki – with a season ending ACL injury – is a big loss for the Brookvale match, while Manly skipper Daly Cherry-Evans has been named to return from a minor quad issue with his side aiming for three straight wins.

As TRAVIS MEYN reports, Cowboys flyer Murray Taulagi is on the verge of Queensland State of Origin selection ahead of a final duel with North Queensland teammate Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, on Friday night. And in other news ahead of kick off on Friday, departing Wests Tigers’ forward Luciano Leilua has officially signed with the Cowboys.
