The Broncos famously announced their entry to the Sydney premiership in 1988 with a mighty 44-10 thrashing of defending premiers Manly on a historic night at Lang Park.

The victory set in train the Broncos juggernaut that became a rugby league powerhouse, winning six premierships and producing some of the greatest players in the code’s history.

Now, as Manly return to the scene of that Brisbane belting in their Magic Round clash on Friday night, PETER BADEL and ROBERT CRADDOCK rate the Broncos’ greatest 30 players in a special two-part series.
