All you need to know in the lead up to the second match on Saturday 11 June, Brisbane Lions and St Kilda, including news updates, past history plus when and how to watch on Kayo.
Brisbane are back at home to face another team on the up in St Kilda, this Saturday night, June 11. Here’s how to watch the match and catch up on all the news in the lead-up.
Lions v Saints preview
Brisbane have been a regular top four side the last three seasons but failed to capitalise, and as the 2022 season passes the halfway point, the Lions are yet again in a position to pounce.
However, as evidenced last Sunday, there are new kids on the Fremantle Dockers who sit equal second on points courtesy of last Sunday’s win over Brisbane. Another is St Kilda who are just outside the top four on percentage.
The Saints had the bye last week and have won their last three on the bounce. Leading forward Max King is fourth in the Coleman Medal race, six goals behind Geelong’s Jeremy Cameron.
Gun Brisbane forward Joe Daniher is set to make a surprise return from a shoulder injury on Saturday night.
