Whatever form of fantasy you play, tracking the schedule is a key to nailing the right players for your team.

That strategy is on steroids in SuperCoach NBA.

With upwards of 40 matches across each round, there is a huge chance to get a jump on the competition by targeting teams that play more often, creating more pointscoring opportunities.

Over the 23-week season each franchise features anywhere from twice to five times in a round for SuperCoach, where each game week features all matches played from Monday-Sunday US time (Tuesday-Monday Australian time) – with a break for the NBA Cup from December 10-17.

There is a big gap between the strength of schedules for some teams in the early part of the season, which will help dictate starting squads in Australia’s newest fantasy format, and crucial captaincy decisions.

The first lockout of the season is 10.30am on Wednesday October 22 (AEDT) when Oklahoma City hosts Houston. By the end of the round five days later the Thunder will have played three times, while the Rockets are one of six teams that only play twice.

And that’s a taste of what’s to come.

Oklahoma City plays four times in rounds 2 and 3 and a total of 18 times over the first five rounds, the equal-best starting schedule in the league. That makes players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren great starting options.

Cleveland, Atlanta, Orlando, Golden State and Dallas are the other teams to target early, with 17 fixtures each over that period.

At the other end of the scale the Rockets play just 14 times in the first five weeks, including two-game rounds in week one and five.
