Beat The Coach: Basketball expert Michael Randall’s NBL fantasy squad for round 10
A huge overtime-assisted score made Bryce Cotton unbeatable last round. But hoops expert Mick Randall is doubling down on avoiding the 36ers star. See his team for round 10 here.
I can’t help but feel very stiff after Damon Lowery’s team beat mine by just two points last round.
Bryce Cotton was the difference – in overtime.
I was ahead at the end of regulation in the last game of the round.
Problem was Adelaide and Cairns was all square at full-time and an extra five minutes at triple points for Cotton got Damon over the line.
Not this week!

My team is stacked with premos, ready to knock over Damon’s Bryce and Co squad.
First picked: Josh Bannan.
With Will Magnay injured, Banno’s shifted to the five and gone to another level, churning out 36, 40 and 49 SuperCoach points in his last three. I’m betting he can lift again as he gets all the minutes he can take.
At the other end of the money tree, teammate Archie Woodhill has also gained some minutes in Magnay’s absence, so anything from a player under $60k is gold.
Betting on a Big Jo bounce-back for Perth in a double that includes his first return to John Cain Arena against the team he led to an NBL title in Melbourne United.
I’ve benefited from being a long-time Zylan Cheatham admirer – he’s dominating – and, while I think Will Hickey will make me pay, I’ve gone with teammate Tyler Harvey because he loves playing the 36ers (scores more points against them than any other team bar Perth) and he typically lifts against United.
Needed to find value elsewhere and I think Tanner Krebs can get one more run on a double while Shea Ili gets acclimatised to his United return.
