Fitzroy-Doncaster coach Matt Bremner touts his latest addition as one of the best spinners in the competition. Bajwa has landed at Schramms Reserve, crossing from Premier Cricket rival Melbourne where he established himself as a regular in the First XI at just 20. The two-time Under-19 Australian representative sought a “fresh opportunity” according to Bremner after bagging 19 wickets at 29.37 last season.

The Vic Metro under-19 quick has made the move from Camberwell Magpies. His best figures last summer were 5-19 against Footscray.

The Yorkshireman comes with a strong short-format resume having played Big Bash League (Hobart Hurricanes), PSL (Karachi Kings), ILT20 (MI Emirates) and spent five years in the English Hundred competition. Has played 62 First Class matches.

Heavy-hitting all-rounder Bangs has returned following two seasons at Ringwood. Crossing to the Rams in July 2023, the True Blues’ 2020-21 premiership winner took in 294 runs last season following 478 in 2023-24. The 26-year-old’s whirlwind stay even produced one of the greatest Premier batting performances in a losing First XI final, with a 150 knock against Carlton.

The English and Brisbane Heat all-rounder joins the Two Blues. He was part of the Heat’s 2023-24 title winning team.

The Premier Cricket power has appointed assistant Lovell as its new mentor following the retirement of long-serving coach Shannon Young. Taking on his first senior gig, Lovell served five years under master coach Michael O’Sullivan at Fitzroy Doncaster and two under Ash Cavigan at Essendon before landing as Young’s right-hand man in recent seasons.

The English cricketer has put pen to paper, following a 592-run, premiership-winning season with East Malvern Tooronga in the Eastern Cricket Association. The Jersey international top scored in the grand final with 48, took two catches and claimed a direct hit run-out of the opposition captain in a game-changing display. Batting option Trent Wynne is also said to be returning following a stint at Heathmont.

Chloe Blacker: The right-arm seamer has crossed from Ringwood where she played more than 50 First XI games. A right-arm seamer who has represented Vic Metro at junior level.

Ophelia Watson: Joins from Yorkshire where she has impressed with the bat through her career.

A former U19 Australian representative, the Victorian and Melbourne Stars all-rounder has joined the Bombers from Melbourne.
