Rice, rice, baby.

He won’t stop, assisting and scoring and he’s a man on a SuperCoach mission.

OK, that’s enough Vanilla Ice puns for one SuperCoach trade guide – but you get the idea.

Declan Rice has surged into must-have territory in SuperCoach EPL after an extraordinary run where he has helped inspire Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table.

Arsenal’s midfield talisman is on an extraordinary scoring run in SuperCoach, averaging 15.4 points a game in the last five rounds.

And the best part? He has avoided any signs of mid-season rotation coach Mikel Arteta might be considering with his Gunners flying high at the summit.

He was the focus of our trade guide a few weeks ago but with his price skyrocketing, the main question this week is how to afford him.

If you’ve missed out on the hot form of the past month, there are a few standout candidates to move on to make sure you’ve got Rice in your midfield.

These are our best options to buy, hold and sell ahead of round 11.

BUY

DECLAN RICE (Arsenal)

Rice is the No.1 ranked midfielder in SuperCoach and was on the scoresheet for the second time this season in the win over Burnley. Scored his 25 points at the weekend across 11 categories which shows how many ways he can accumulate in SuperCoach. Rice has played 79 minutes or more in all bar one match this season.

GABRIEL (Arsenal)

Arsenal’s defence has been heroic in the first 10 games of 2025-26 and Gabriel has been at the heart of its success. His last five SuperCoach scores are 25, 12, 20, 14, 20 and he has only dipped below 11 points twice this season. That sort of consistency is gold in SuperCoach EPL where even the best players can produce volatile returns.

YANKUBAH MINTEH (Brighton)

The best midfielders in SuperCoach EPL are the ones who get forward and can be a threat in the penalty area. Minteh provides exactly that for Brighton. He might only have scored once this season in 10 games yet is still averaging 9.9 points a game in SuperCoach. His price is about to start rising again after a return of 16 in the 3-0 win over Leeds United.

JOAO PEDRO (Chelsea)

Pedro’s price is on the way back up after he scored the only goal in Chelsea’s win over Tottenham. It’s the perfect time for him to be in scoring form too with matches against struggling Wolverhampton and Burnley to come in the next two rounds. Pedro cost £11.6 million in SuperCoach after round 4 but can be yours for more than £5 million less than that this week.

WESLEY FOFANA (Chelsea)

Easy to forget that Chelsea parted with more than $140 million AUD to sign Fofana after he emerged as one of the world’s brightest defensive prospects at Leicester City. He has had a torrid time with injuries since then but started in the victory over Tottenham alongside Trevor Chalobah. If you need a cheap defender, look no further than Fofana ahead of a run of games where Chelsea will be eyeing clean sheets.

MOHAMMED SALAH (Liverpool)

This option comes with a word of warning. The African Cup of Nations starts on December 21 and runs until January 18, when Salah will be representing Egypt. So if you’re buying him this week after Emi Martinez provided Salah a droughtbreaking goal on a silver platter, you need to be aware that in about six weeks you will need to trade him out again. But his price is likely as low as it will be again this season.

DIEGO GOMEZ (Brighton)

Have to be honest. I had to Google Gomez when I saw he scored twice against Leeds. Turns out the Paraguayan played 16 games last season for Brighton and has already featured in nine this term. In eight appearances so far this year he had reached five points once before scoring 32 against Leeds. If you need a quick cash injection, this is the perfect opportunity.

HOLD

FLORIAN WIRTZ (Liverpool)

The mega-money signing was benched against Aston Villa, coming on with 13 minutes to play to replace Hugo Ekitike. That would immediately cause alarm bells for most SuperCoaches but the reality is, Wirtz has lost so much value you should hold. After scoring 3 SuperCoach points against Villa he’s close to £4 million. His form is going to turn at some point and he’ll get big minutes when Salah heads to AFCON. The only reason to trade this week would be if you want Diego Gomez’s quick cash.

ADRIEN TRUFFERT (Bournemouth)

There’s always a chance when a defender comes up against Manchester City – and more importantly Erling Haaland – they will produce a low SuperCoach return. What’s worth remembering is Truffert has only scored less than five three times and has five double-digit returns in SuperCoach already. It was only last round he scored a season-high 16.

MICKEY VAN DE VEN (Tottenham Hotspur)

Only a few weeks ago I thought he might be a season keeper, but I am starting to get worried about Tottenham. Van de Ven has one more week to convince me he’s worth holding while his price continues to rise after the 37 he produced against Everton last round. Once he peaks, it might be time to cash in and get a more reliable option like Gabriel.

SELL

TIJJANI REIJNDERS (Manchester City)

The last two weeks have been a disaster for thousands of SuperCoach teams with Reijnders. He scored -1 against Aston Villa, then was benched against Bournemouth, replacing Rayan Cherki after 73 minutes. Pep Guardiola is known for rotating his midfield and with uncertainty about Reijnders’ role and his scoring falling off a cliff, he’s a must sell this week. The perfect player to upgrade to Rice or Minteh.

JEREMIE FRIMPONG (Liverpool)

There’s a chance Liverpool’s right back might miss another month with a hamstring injury. Frimpong still features in more than 7,700 SuperCoach teams. His understudy Conor Bradley is a sideways trade option if you want to keep a Liverpool defensive asset.
