The final round of the regular season starts on Saturday night with the Giants hosting Sunshine Coast Lightning. Here’s how to watch the match and catch up on all the news in the lead-up.

Giants v Lightning preview

A Jo Harten super shot secured not only the win against Queensland Firebirds, last Saturday, but also the Giants’ place in the top four and a chance to go one better than last year’s Grand Final defeat to the NSW Swifts.

Victory over the bottom-placed Sunshine Coast Lightning is inconsequential to who the third-placed Giants play in the semi-finals next week, with that to be determined by other results this weekend.

But they will host and, there is always the matter of winning momentum, key to what will be a sudden-death semi next week.

The fixture will also be the first of a double-header at Ken Rosewall Arena this weekend with NSW Swifts hosting the Firebirds on Sunday.
