Fever v Thunderbirds preview
Last weekend, West Coast secured second spot and the chance to topple Melbourne Vixens in the major semi-final earning a direct route to a home Grand Final locked-in thanks to last week’s news.
The Fever meet a Thunderbirds team who looked set to climb into the top four last Saturday, and end a nine-year finals hiatus, only to stumble in the final quarter.
It leaves Adelaide one win outside the all-important top four needing a win in Perth, and Collingwood loss, to remain a chance of finals.
Jamaican Jhaniele Fowler slotted the winning goal last week against NSW Swifts to take her to 760 for the season.
